Priyanka Gandhi Hospitalized, Won’t Participate In Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has announced her she won’t be able to join the party’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra on Friday due to her illness. She sent her regards to her brother Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders participating in the Yatra and assured them of her intention to join as soon as she recovers.

She took to X and wrote “I was eagerly waiting for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to reach Uttar Pradesh. But due to an illness, I had to be admitted to the hospital today itself. I will join the Yatra as soon as I feel better”

Priyanka was expected to join Rahul at Chandauli in Uttar Pradesh as the Yatra entered the state from Bihar but had to be hospitalized due to her condition. Expressing her disappointment, she mentioned her eagerness to witness the Yatra’s entry into Uttar Pradesh but emphasized her commitment to join once her health improves.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, along with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, continues to lead the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Manipur to Mumbai, currently traversing Bihar. They recently addressed a significant gathering in Bihar’s Aurangabad.

The Yatra is scheduled to enter Uttar Pradesh on Friday evening, a significant state in Indian politics. It will journey through Uttar Pradesh from February 16 to 21 and then again from February 24 to 25, with designated rest days on February 22 and 23.
