Bollywood actress Preity Zinta stayed at Chamba Camp Thiksey in Ladakh for her recent vacation.

These days, actress and producer Preity Zinta is on her quest to find peace and light in the quaint Himalayan terrain of Leh-Ladakh. The co-owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab was seen having a quiet time at the Taktok Monastery in the upper reaches of Ladakh, as revealed by his latest Instagram post.

On Tuesday, the 46-year-old actress posted several pictures from her visit to a Buddhist monastery located in Sakti village on the outskirts of Ladakh. The first picture shows Zinta in a solemn prayer, with a series of Buddhist butter lamps lighting up in the background. During her visit to the holy site she was seen in an olive green dress and was allowed hair. In another picture from the Instagram post, Zinta posted a selfie taken while standing outside the monastery. The caption of her latest Instagram post read, “If you have light in your heart, you will find your way home. Ceiling of Taktok Monastery Cave. The sound of silence. PZ Travel.” Commenting on the post, interior designer and actor Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife, Sussanne Khan wrote, “Your hair is so beautiful Pre. looking stunning.”

In her previous Instagram post, Zinta shared a video made from the monastery, giving a glimpse of her journey by her 8.3 million Instagram followers. The video shows Zinta filming with the front camera as she gave a complete view of her surroundings to the netizens. The video was accompanied by a caption that read, “There is something so peaceful about monasteries. Here I am after lighting the lamp at the Taktok monastery.” The actress further wrote about how she spent her time at the location, as the caption read, “They were kind enough to let us sit inside for a while and it felt amazing, as time stopped. Here’s to enjoying the sound of silence and respecting all religions.”

Zinta had stayed at the Chamba Camp Thiksey in Ladakh for her recent vacation.
