After Salaar, Prabhas and Prashanth Neel are reportedly set to collaborate on another project, tentatively titled Raavanam. Producer Dil Raju confirmed to a news portal that Prabhas and Prashanth will be collaborating on a mythological film, which will be the costliest Telugu film ever. Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel has already finalized his script and discussions are on with Prabhas.
Speaking to Pinkvilla, filmmaker Dil Raju said, “Yes, Prashant Neel has finalized a script and we are planning it with Prabhas. Both are already working together in Salaar. After Salaar, Prashanth has a commitment with NTR, so maybe after the NTR film, Prashanth will start work on this project. It is still in the discussion stage.”
Reportedly, the shooting of Salaar is going on at a brisk pace, and the makers are busy making the teaser of the film, which is likely to be out in a few weeks. Along with Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu are also playing lead roles in the film. Like KGF, the music for Salaar is composed by Ravi Basrur. It will tentatively hit the theaters on September 28.
In an Instagram post, Homeable Films provided an update on Salaar and announced that “The Most Violent Man is coming soon on September 28, 2023 with a complete package to blow your mind. Hello Royal Challengers Bangalore, let’s Unleash the Salar Rebel Mode.” The first motion poster of Salar is out, which guarantees an exciting and thrilling journey for the audiences. Apart from Salaar, Prabhas is also set to star in the project, which involves working with him Deepika Padukone And Amitabh Bachchan and is directed by Nag Ashwin. While the filmmakers had initially announced a January 2024 release for the project, rumors suggest that it will not meet the deadline and will instead release in the summer of 2024.
