Man in police custody for threatening to blow up Patna airport.
The threat to blow up Patna airport was given from Samastipur. The person making the threat has been taken into custody by the police. He was under the influence of alcohol. His mobile has been seized.
This threat was received on the mobile of Airport Director Anchal Prakash around 11 am on Wednesday. A call was received on his mobile from an unknown number. The caller threatened to blow up the airport. Talked to the young man on the phone for a few seconds. After this the phone got disconnected. After this call, there was a stir among the airport authority.
The airport director informed the police about the threat to blow up the airport. Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra along with his team reached the spot. Bomb squad team was called. Search operation is being run at the airport. The bomb was searched for three hours, but nothing was found.
