In a sad incident, prominent Kannada actor Sampath J Ram left for his heavenly abode at the age of 35. As per reports, he died by suicide on April 22 at his home in Nelamangala. The entire Kannada film industry is shocked by the news of his demise.
According to reports, Sampat J Ram had to take this drastic step due to lack of work. However, there is no official information regarding this from his family or friends.
Sampath has appeared in popular serials like Agnisakshi and was recently featured in the highly acclaimed film Shree Balaji Photo Studio. Rajesh Dhruv, who directed the film, expressed grief over Sampath’s demise in a long post on his social media page.
His statement in Kannada roughly translates to “Son, we don’t have the strength to bear your parting. How many films have been made, so many battles to be fought, and there is still plenty of time to make your dreams come true.” There is still a lot to do in your avoided phase. Please come back.” Sampath’s tragic death has been mourned by many of his friends and colleagues.
In September last year, Kannada TV actor Mandya Ravi aka Ravi Prasad passed away. He was admitted to BGS Hospital in Bengaluru. Reportedly, he was suffering from multiple organ failures and failed to respond to treatment. Son of writer Dr HS Muddegowda, he was from Madhya Pradesh. Mandya Ravi was 42 and is survived by his parents, wife, a son and two sisters. Apart from Kannada, he also acted in Tamil and Telugu television serials. Although he was an actor by profession, Mandya Ravi did his post graduation in English and was also a law graduate.
