Ponniyin Selvan: First Look Out of Karthi as Chola Commander Vanthiyathevan from Mani Ratnam’s Film! The team of the director’s much-awaited masterpiece unveiled the poster on Tuesday. Karthi’s look in the film has been revealed a day after the unit released Vikram’s look as Aditya Karikalan. Taking to Twitter, Karthi said, “With all your blessings, bringing you #Vanthiyathevan and #Semban (horse).”

Lyca Productions and Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies, both of whom are jointly producing the magnum opus, tweeted the first look of Vanthiyathevan, saying, “Prince without Raj, spy, daring adventurer… here comes Vanthiyathevan!”

Actor Vikram’s first look as Aditya Karikalan in the film was released on Monday.

The film, whose first part will release on September 30 this year, will release in five languages ​​- Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

The film is based on the classic Tamil novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ by noted writer Kalki. The fantastic story, which revolves around the early life of Prince Arulmozhi Varman, who later came to be known as the great Raja Chozan, is one of a kind.

Called by Mani Ratnam as his dream project, the film stars several top stars including actors Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Jairam, Parthiban, Lal, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prabhu and Prakash Raj. This project will be one of the costliest projects in the country till date.

The film is best in the business of handling each of its departments. AR Rahman is composing the music for this film and cinematography is done by Ravi Varman. National Award winning art director Thottaa Tharani is in charge of the production design while Mani Ratnam’s trusted editor Sreekar Prasad is handling the editing.
