PM will visit Shimla on Tuesday, will take part in ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi To mark the completion of eight years of his government, he will participate in ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’ in Shimla on Tuesday and interact directly with the beneficiaries of various schemes. It said that on May 31, at around 11 am, Prime Minister Modi will participate in the ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’. “Novel Public Events” are being organized in State Capitals, District Headquarters and Krishi Vigyan Kendras across the country.

The ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’ will begin at around 9:45 am with Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, State Ministers, Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly and other elected representatives, who will interact directly with the public at their respective places across the country. . The statement said. With the Prime Minister joining the program at around 11 am, various state and local level programs will get coverage and the ‘sammelan’ will be made national.

During the ‘Sammelan’, the Prime Minister will interact directly with the beneficiaries of various programs of nine Ministries/Departments of the Modi Government. The PMO said that the freewheeling interactions being organized across the country are aimed at eliciting free and frank feedback from the public, understanding the impact of welfare schemes in people’s lives and exploring convergence and saturation with respect to various government programmes.

It said that the effort is to make the access and delivery of government programs more efficient so as to make the lives of the citizens of the country easier. Prime Minister Modi will also release the 11th installment of financial benefits under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi’ (PM-Kisan) scheme. With this, an amount of about Rs 21,000 crore will be transferred to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmer families. According to the statement, he will also interact with the beneficiaries of PM-KISAN across the country.
