PM Modi to attend virtual quad meet today amid Ukraine-Russia war

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the Quad Leaders’ virtual meeting on Thursday. US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will also attend the meeting, even as the Russian invasion of Ukraine has entered its eighth day.

The foreign ministry said in a press release that the leaders would exchange views and assessments about important developments in the Indo-Pacific region.
