PM Modi, President Kovind extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the people. India News – Times of India

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Greeting people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha on Wednesday.
He took Twitter and greeted people by saying, “Eid Mubarak! Happy Eid-ul-Adha. May this day further the spirit of collective empathy, harmony and inclusion in the service of the greater good.”

Earlier, the President Ram Nath Kovind Greetings of Eid-Uz-Zuha to all the countrymen.

Eid-ul-Zuha or Eid al-Adha is one of the two Muslim holidays celebrated around the world every year.
Eid-ul-Zuha, also known as Bakrid is celebrated on the 10th day of dhu al-hijjah, and two days after the start of Hajj Pilgrimage in the last month of the Islamic calendar. Traditionally, the start date of this festival depends on the sighting of the new moon moon.
The festival marks the end of Hajj and includes animal sacrifice as a symbol of Ibrahim’s sacrifice to Allah.
