Addressing hundreds of Shiv Sainiks on Monday (July 4) during his first visit to his hometown Thane after taking over as chief minister, Shinde said the risk he took despite criticism (referring to political developments in the past fortnight) He was appreciated by the people. for a few quarters.

“I am going to tour the entire state and allot projects in every constituency. There will be a total transformation of the state. I don’t exaggerate much, I work and then speak,” he said.

He said that Prime Minister Modi has asked him to work for the development and development of the state.

Shinde said, “He (Prime Minister) told me that he and the central government will support me. Even Union Home Minister Amit Shah has expressed his full support. He said that I am doing good work for Hindutva. Am.”

Referring to the political developments of the last fortnight, Shinde said that when he left for Surat along with some Shiv Sena MLAs, later stayed in Guwahati and then Goa and before returning to Mumbai, he said that 50 MLAs had faith and confidence in him. There was trust.

He said, “We stood against injustice and did not rebel. (Shiv Sena founder) Balasaheb Thackeray told us to rise up against injustice, it was his teaching and also that of (Shinde’s guru) Anand Dighe.” Blessings of both the leaders and best wishes of citizens that he becomes CM.

“We were out for 15 days, and as much as you wanted to meet me, I was also looking forward to meeting my Shiv Sainiks and Karyakartas. Even now I don’t feel like I am the CM. I am one of you. Now Apart from this, I will be an ‘activist’ among you all.”

Shinde said that no matter how big his stature becomes, Shiv Sainik will always remain in him.

The CM also said that he has given a commitment to the 50 MLAs who have supported him that none of them will face defeat in the next election.

He said, “If I make a promise once, I don’t even listen to myself until it is fulfilled.”

Referring to some strongly critical comments made by Shiv Sena leaders after leaving Mumbai with some MLAs, Shinde said, “Kamakhyadevi (goddess of a famous temple in Guwahati) gave us her blessings.”

“Truth always wins. We will make the best use of the golden opportunity we have got to lead the state,” he said.

“We have to make our mission successful and respect Hindutva, which means respecting every religion,” he said.

Shinde said that every caste, creed and region will get due respect and everyone including farmers and poor people will get justice in his government.

On his speech in the assembly after the floor test, he said, “Everything was smooth, everything I said was an expression of my feelings. I couldn’t believe I could give such a speech.”

Appreciating his supporters, who had gathered in large numbers during his address to face the heavy rains, Shinde said, “I have contributed to Shiv Sena throughout my life at the cost of my family.”

The Chief Minister also visited the BJP office here and was received by BJP city president and MLC Niranjan Davkhare.
