PM-KISAN 13th Installment: Farmers Of This State To Get Rs 2,000 on Feb 27- Check Name on Beneficiary List

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 13th installment of about Rs 16,000 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) during his visit to Karnataka on February 27. In addition, the Prime Minister will visit and inspect Shivamogga. airport, following which, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several projects in the city.

He will lay the foundation stone in Belagavi and dedicate several development initiatives. The new airport has been developed at a cost of about Rs 450 crore. The airport’s passenger terminal building can handle 300 passengers per hour. This includes the Shivamogga – Shikaripura – Ranibennur new railway line and the Kotaganguru Railway Coaching Depot. The Shivamogga – Shikaripura – Ranibennur new railway line, to be developed at a cost of Rs 990 crore, will provide better connectivity to the Malnad region with the Bengaluru-Mumbai mainline.

The Koteganguru Railway Coaching Depot in Shivamogga city will be developed at a cost of over Rs 100 crore to help start new trains from Shivamogga and have low-maintenance facilities in Bengaluru and Mysuru.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of several road development projects. The projects that will be developed at a cumulative cost of over Rs 215 crore include construction of a new bypass road to Shikaripura Town on NH 766C connecting Byndoor – Ranibennur; widening of NH-169A from Megaravalli to Agumbe; and construction of new bridge on NH 169 at Bharatipura in Tirthahalli taluk.

During the program, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multi-rural schemes worth more than Rs 950 crore under the Jal Jeevan Mission. This includes the inauguration of a multi-village scheme for Gautampura and 127 other villages and the laying of foundation stones for three more multi-village schemes to be developed at a total cost of over Rs 860 crore.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate 44 smart city projects worth over Rs 895 crore in Shivamogga city. The 13th installment amounting to around Rs 16,000 crore under PM-KISAN will be released to over 8 crore beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer.

The Prime Minister will dedicate the redeveloped Belagavi Railway Station building to the nation. This railway station has been redeveloped at an estimated cost of about Rs 190 crore to provide world class facilities to the passengers.

Another railway project that will be dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister is the rail line doubling project between the Londa-Belagavi-Ghatprabha section in Belagavi. Developed at a cost of approximately Rs 930 crore, the project will enhance line capacity along the busy Mumbai-Pune-Hubli-Bengaluru railway line, thereby boosting trade, commerce and economic activities in the region.

He will also lay the foundation stone of six multi-village planning projects under Jal Jeevan Mission in Belagavi, which will be developed at a cumulative cost of about Rs 1585 crore and will benefit about 8.8 lakh population of more than 315 villages.
