Playback singer Manjari finds love again! He is married to his childhood friend Jerrin. The couple had an intimate wedding in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday morning. Manjari, who mainly works in the Malayalam industry, has shared this news on her social media. She also shared with her fans a glimpse of how she spent her post-wedding festivities with specially-abled children.
Manjari and Zerin knew each other since childhood. The couple attended the same school in Muscat from the first grade. Zerin hails from Pathanamthitta, Kerala and now works as an HR manager in Bengaluru.
For her wedding day, Manjari chose a red silk sari and paired it with traditional gold jewellery. Zareen teamed up with them and looked beautiful in a red kurta and mundu.
In the picture shared by Manjari, this couple looks very cute together. The newlyweds can be seen smiling at each other as they pose for the camera. He wrote in the caption of the post, “Happy.”
As soon as she shared the news on her Instagram, her friends from the South film industry poured in wishes for the married couple. Filmmaker Vishnu Udayan commented, “Congratulations.” Singer Jaya Ranjini Jose also penned a note and wrote, “Congratulations ho da… so happy for you. God bless you both.”
After the wedding, the couple went to the Magic Academy to celebrate the day with specially-abled children. Manjari went live on her Instagram and later posted a video of herself and her husband on their way to the academy. In the video, Manjari said that they are on their way to the academy to enjoy lunch with the kids and their families.
Manjari was earlier married to Vivek Prasa and separated after a few years.
Manjari is a classically trained singer. Composer Ilaiyaraaja introduced her to the music industry in the film Achuvinte Amma. He has lent his voice to more than 500 songs in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. She received two Kerala State Film Awards for Best Female Singer in 2004 and 2008.
