The game started poorly, with both the teams playing each other in blow-for-blow matches to level the score at 4-4. Mohit Goyat and Paltan Defense then helped his team score three unanswered points, leaving Delhi on the mat with only two men.
Pune’s defense allowed the raider to collect a bonus point and then pinned it immediately, leaving Delhi with a lone player. Krishna surrendered the touch point, which bowled Delhi all out and gave Paltan an 11-5 lead.

Inamdar, Goyat and Paltan’s defense picked up from where they left off in the first half as they dismissed Delhi 6-3 at the start of the second half and reduced them to a lone man on the mat. Neeraj Narwal managed to take the bonus, but soon thereafter he was surrounded by Paltan’s defense, which saw Delhi get a third all out.
Neeraj and Sandeep Narwal helped Delhi move closer to Paltan’s total on the scoreboard, but Inamdar and Goyat ensured that their team maintained a good lead. The young pair helped Paltan to Delhi’s point-for-point match in the final 10 minutes of the game and kept Delhi from going back into the competition.
Vijay managed to steal a bonus and a touch point in the final raid of the game, but it was too late, as Platoon posted a comfortable 17-point victory.
