People Are Fighting Karnataka Assembly Election on Behalf of BJP, Says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Saturday, he said that the overwhelming response he got in Bengaluru during the roadshow made him believe that these are the people who are contesting the 2023 assembly elections in Karnataka on behalf of the BJP.

The Prime Minister also said that the “never seen love and affection” he saw in Bengaluru was “unparalleled”.

“This morning, I went to ‘darshan’ (opportunity to see) ‘Janata Janardhan’ (public god) in Bengaluru. People showered me with love and affection like never before,” Modi said at a public meeting here. Voting is underway in Karnataka’s Bagalkot district, where polling will be held on May 10.

The Prime Minister said people stood at every nook and corner of the road for 25 kilometers from where his convoy passed during the Bengaluru roadshow.

Modi said people with their families, disabled and women with their newborns were standing on both sides of the road.

“From what I saw in Bengaluru, I say with confidence that neither Modi nor BJP leaders or our candidates are fighting this election, this election is being fought by the people of Karnataka on behalf of the BJP. I saw complete control of the election Giving.” In the hands of the people,” said the Prime Minister.

He also said that the ‘double engine’ government of BJP is working for development without any discrimination.

Modi told the crowd, “For the first time, the people of Bagalkot got three lakh tap water connections. Over 25,000 people of Bagalkot got their own cement houses. The benefits of the Ayushman Bharat scheme reached the people of Bagalkot.”

Taking a jibe at former chief minister Siddaramaiah, who was elected from the district’s Badami constituency in the 2018 election, the prime minister said: “I heard Siddaramaiah saying that whatever development has happened in the last 3.5 years is because of his government.” Cause happened. Attempt. His confession is self-evident that if anyone works, it is a double engine government and does it without any discrimination. Modi said it is the work of the BJP government that has benefited the people of the region, with “highways being improved and railway projects happening” as the party is ruling both at the Center and in the state.

He said, “Siddaramaiah has left here leaving all of you (the former chief minister is contesting from Varuna seat this time). He has realized which direction the wind is blowing. If he happens to come here by chance, Ask him a question why people are deprived of basic facilities.” First,” he said.

Hitting out at the Congress, Modi said the party has a track record of “85 per cent commission” and can never work for the service of the people.

Modi said former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi had said on record that when one rupee ‘looks’ from Delhi, only 85 paise reaches the people.

He said, “Whose claw was this that eats 85 paise of a rupee? This was the way the Congress functioned. Due to the misdeeds of the Congress, India went backward for so many decades.”

“The BJP used the trident of Aadhaar, mobile phone and Jan-Dhan account that their (Congress’s) old habits have been completely destroyed,” he said.

Modi said that in nine years, the BJP government transferred Rs 29 lakh crore to the bank accounts of poor and middle class families and the money reached the people without stealing a single paisa.

He alleged that if there was a Congress government, the party leaders would have looted Rs 24 lakh crore.

The Prime Minister said that India has become one of the largest mobile phone manufacturing countries. He said that there was a time when there were only two factories manufacturing cell phones in India, but now there are more than 200 factories in the country.

Elaborating further, he said that before 2014, when Congress was in power at the Centre, one gigabyte (GB) of mobile internet data cost Rs 300, but under the BJP government, now one GB data costs only Rs 10. .

“The amount of data you use in a month, if the old rates were there during the Congress era, have you ever thought how much bill you will get? Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 per month,” he claimed.
