Noida: Had two kids Injured part of the roof of the building they were sleeping in collapsed heavy showers Sunday Morning.
The incident happened around 6 am Dankaur area of Greater Noida.
The injured have been identified as Sania (5) and Farhan (2). While Sania has suffered head and stomach injuries, Farhan has a shoulder injury.
Dankaur police station SHO Arvind Pathak told TOI that the incident happened around 6 am when it was raining heavily. “The police and fire brigade teams immediately reached the spot and started the rescue operation. The children were taken to a nearby hospital for medical examination and their condition is stable.” He added that he has not received any complaint in the matter.
The children’s father, Mohammad Sagir, said that they have been living in the area for five years. “My wife and I had gone out for some work and the kids were sleeping inside. We heard the noise and ran away. We immediately called the police for help,” he said. Meanwhile, the level rose due to heavy rain in the early hours of Sunday.
