The eagerly awaited union of AAP MLA Raghav Chadha and Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is finally underway, with the much-anticipated wedding set to take place tomorrow at The Leela Palace in Udaipur. As the wedding festivities kick off, Udaipur airport has been transformed to welcome the couple’s guests with hoardings displaying their names.
The bride and groom received a warm and grand welcome at the airport, which had been beautifully decorated to welcome not just the ladkiwale and baraatis but also all the attending guests. The wedding ceremony itself will be held at The Leela Palace, with the baraat embarking on a boat journey from the iconic Lake Palace to reach the venue.
Yesterday, the bridal party was spotted crossing Lake Pichola by boat, and the pre-wedding celebrations included a mehendi ceremony, while today’s schedule features haldi and sangeet ceremonies.

The celebrations officially commence on September 23 with a welcome lunch named “Grains of Love” at the Leela Palace, where guests can expect a rich array of Rajasthani and international dishes. Given the Punjabi heritage of both Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s families, elaborate Punjabi cuisine is also anticipated to feature prominently on the menu.
Moreover, rumours are swirling that Parineeti Chopra’s brothers, Sahaj Chopra and Shivang Chopra, who are esteemed food entrepreneurs based in Delhi, have meticulously curated the wedding menus. Sahaj Chopra, the owner of popular Delhi QSR businesses, Fat Tiger, and The Old Delhi, is known for delighting Parineeti Chopra with delectable dimsums, kebabs, and kulfis at his eateries. It’s reported that these beloved dishes, including a profusion of dimsums and kebabs, will also grace the wedding banquet.

The grand celebration is set to host approximately 200 guests, including Raghav Chadha’s AAP colleagues and other prominent political figures. Notable attendees are expected to include Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Also gracing the guest list are celebrated figures such as Karan Johar and renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra, the creative genius behind the bride’s exquisite outfits. The pre-wedding festivities commenced earlier this week in New Delhi, featuring an ardas ceremony at Raghav’s residence and a soulful Sufi night attended by notable figures, including cricketer Harbhajan Singh. Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, who got engaged in New Delhi in May, also had the pleasure of hosting Priyanka Chopra, who flew in from Los Angeles to attend the celebrations.
