Over 6.5 Lakh More Students To Take Up Board Exams Next Year | Allahabad News – Times of India

PRAYAGRAJ: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, also known as UP Board, have started preparations for the smooth conduct of the 2023 Board exams for classes 10 and 12 in which about 58.78 lakh students are likely to appear. In 2023, over 6.5 lakh more students will take the 2023 exams as compared to 2022.
This year, schools have uploaded details of 31,28,318 students, including 31,19,372 regular and 8,946 private, in class 10 and another 27,50,130 students, including 25,83,433 regular and 1,66,697 private, in class 12. Thus, records of a total of 58,78 448 have been uploaded at the UP Board’s website.
In comparison to this, in the 2021-22 session, a total of 51,92,689 students had registered to appear in the exams that began on March 24. This included 27,81,654 for class 10 (15,53,198 boys and 12,28,456 girls) and 24,11,035 for class 12 (13,24,200 boys and 10,86,835 girls). A total of 8873 exam centres were set up across the state.
