Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant heaped praise on his bowlers, whom he described as the fastest bowlers in the world, after their 8-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.

Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant expressed happiness over his team’s easy win over Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday IPL The 2021 game at the Dubai International Stadium here.
“Very happy with this performance. We had a good first leg… Glad to start off like this. We want to focus on the process (which coach Ricky Ponting says). It was a very good bowling… . Our bowlers did a great job stopping him. We have one of the fastest bowlers in the world. Very happy as captain,” Pant said after the match.
Capitals put up an all-round performance to beat Hyderabad by eight wickets. After the bowlers kept Hyderabad down to 134/9 in 20 overs, Delhi made easy task of the target of 135 runs with 13 balls to spare. The win takes Delhi at the top of the points table with 14 points from nine matches while Hyderabad are at the bottom with just two points from eight matches.
Meanwhile, Delhi pacer Enrique Nortje, who was declared man of the match for taking two crucial wickets and conceding just 12 runs in his 4 overs, said, “Obviously missed the first half of the tournament. Gone… Personally I wanted to bring energy. Looking back on the first game of the tournament, we decided it was nice to see some grass.”
“Nice to have some kind of help, we didn’t need to do much; Just keep it simple. I don’t focus on that (getting big wickets).”
