oneplus expanded its OnePlus 9 series in China with the addition of OnePlus 9RT The smartphone joins the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9R in the smartphone series in October. While the company hasn’t revealed any plans to launch the smartphone in India, known tipster Max Jambor revealed that the OnePlus 9 RT will be launched in India on December 16. Now, in his recent tweet, the tipster has revealed that the Indian launch of the smartphone has been delayed.
The device is reportedly called the. will be called oneplus rt in the country but is expected to carry the same design and specs seen on its Chinese counterpart. The smartphone was also spotted on the OnePlus Care app a few weeks back. The device was also spotted on the BIS certification website.
OnePlus 9RT Specifications
OnePlus RT sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The display offers up to 1300 nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The smartphone with 5nm chipset comes in three variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage and 12GB + 256GB internal storage variant.
When it comes to the camera, the OnePlus RT packs a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with f/1.88 aperture and OIS. The primary lens is paired with a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Dual-LED flash is also available in the camera setup. The triple camera setup is said to offer hybrid focus and 4K video recording.
In terms of selfie camera, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera with an f/2.4 lens. Electronic image stabilization is also available in the front camera. On the battery front, the device packs a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65W fast charging.
