Swapnil Joshi congratulated Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza for the recently released film Ved.
Riteish Deshmukh’s directorial debut Ved is breaking records at the box office. The film was released in theaters on December 30 last year. The actor, who stars in the film alongside his real-life wife Genelia D’Souza, has been receiving praise from critics as well as from across the industry for both his direction and acting. The film has entered the 50 crore club. Marathi star Swapnil Joshi has congratulated the team of Ved for the success.
Sharing the message on Twitter in Marathi, which was translated into English, “Ved will cross 50 crore mark at the box office today! Only C. Hon. L performance! Marathi Paul continues studies! Ritesh Deshmukh Bhau ( Hearty Congratulations to Bhai), Genelia D’Souza Vaini (Sister-in-law) and the entire team (sic)!

Responding to the tweet, the actress wrote in Marathi which translates to Hindi, in which Genelia said, “Many many blessings for your wishes…Swapnil Joshi.”

Even the Plan A Plan B actor replied and thanked. He wrote in Marathi, “Brother… many thanks – big hug Swapnil Joshi, see you soon!”
Earlier, filmmaker Karan Johar shared a long note on Instagram praising the Ek Villain actor’s professional journey from being a “solid actor” to sitting in the director’s chair. Ved is a remake of the 2019 Telugu film Majili. The film revolves around the incredible love story of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza’s character.
