Kannauj (UP): On Friday, a constable on duty in Chhibramau tehsil allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself. Constable Vishnu was posted at Chibramau Court and came on duty as usual and used to talk on the phone for some time. Circle Officer (CO), Chhibramau, Deepak Dubey said that after 10 am, he was found hanging from a tree behind the court building. His body was brought down by the police who informed his family.

The CO said it is yet to be ascertained why Vishnu killed himself, adding that his body has been sent for post-mortem, he said. Vishnu was a resident of Mathura district and had got married only five months back.
