Omicron fear: Weekend curfew will be imposed in Delhi, DDMA will issue new guidelines

New Delhi: After the Covid positivity rate in Delhi jumped over 5% for a day, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has decided to impose weekend curfew in the national capital.

Sources told ABP News that the decision was taken during the DDMA meeting on Tuesday in view of the rapidly increasing COVID-19 cases in Delhi. Night curfew is already in force in Delhi under the colour-coded Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) alert. Night curfew starts at 10 pm and ends at 5 am.
