NSUI today demonstrated in front of the VC office to name the new college in DU after Veer Savarkar. The effigy of VC was burnt in this demonstration. Students affiliated with NSUI say there is no objection to naming the college after Sushma Swaraj, but the college should not be named after Savarkar, who had apologized to the British.
