Kannada language’s surrealist action-thriller film, UI has been making a lot of noise. The upcoming film has increased the excitement among fans who are eagerly waiting for its release. As per the latest updates, lead actor Upendra and Kantara fame music composer, B Ajaneesh Loknath are currently in Budapest, Hungary. This has created much buzz on the internet. Generally, the background score in a film is one of the important aspects of the film-watching experience. The music helps enhance a scene or add an extra layer of depth of emotions with an apt tune. In recent times, UI has been grabbing attention for the use of live music. Now, Ajaneesh Loknath shared a few sneak peeks into their recording session. The caption read, “An Epic 90-piece orchestra recording session is going on in Hungary, Europe for UI film songs. Brace yourself for the ultimate musical experience.”

What is a piece orchestra? Well, for example, there is a group of 10 people. It could be a group of saxophonists, trumpet players or even violinists. The different groups of instrumentalists are called “pieces”. Interestingly, for the KD film, a 256-piece Orchestra was roped in for the music.

Previously, the composer had worked with a team of ace musicians in London to create percussion and tracks for the Kannada film Vikrant Rona, headlined by Kiccha Sudeepa. It also starred Jacqueline Fernandez. Recently, Indian musicians and composers have been creating masterpieces by jetting off to Budapest for film scoring as it offers cutting-edge analogue and digital recording technology. Oscar- award winner Ilayaraja recorded with Budapest Symphony orchestra for his project. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s film Bhediya’s musician duo, Sachin-Jigar also collaborated with Budapest Film Orchestra to create its background score.

UI is directed and written by Upendra, who will also be playing the lead role in the film. The film will feature Reeshma Nanaiah, Murali Sharma, Sunny Leone, Nidhi Subbaiah, Sadhu Kokila, Murali Krishna and Indrajit Lankesh in important roles. It is backed by Lahari Films and Venus Entertainers.
