Sydney: Mitchell Starc Wants to be the only Australian fast bowler to play all five Ashes Test After declaring himself fit to go for the fifth match day-night this week in Hobart.
Concerns were raised about Starc’s workload after taking only one wicket in the fourth Test in Sydney, but the left-hander quickly laughed at the idea that it was his turn to rest.
“I hope not, it’s a pink ball game,” Starc, who scored 52 runs in nine day-night Tests, told reporters from Hobart on Wednesday.
“I am feeling good. We have a few days to prepare for the fifth Test.
“I’m not looking for a break,” he said. “This is his last Test match Ashes chain and it’s pink ball too. I love to play. I think it is in the hands of the selectors but I will not ask for rest.”

Michael Neser And Jhye RichardsonStarc, who bowled with Starc in the first day-night match of the series in Adelaide, is available to replace Boland when he is out.
Starc said, ‘The bowlers coming into the group have done well from the beginning, they have played their part brilliantly.
“Scotty has been sensational.”
Six of Starc’s 15 wickets came in the day-night Adelaide Test, including the brilliant dismissal of Rory Burns on the first ball of the first Test.
When Starc was asked to explain the secret of his success, he said, “I have always believed that I have found the pink ball to be more like the white ball than the red ball.”
“Whether it matches the way I watch white-ball cricket, I’m not sure.”
