No exam for 12th pass in railways, apply like this

Indian Rail Direct recruitment without examination. The latest recruitment drive is being conducted under Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Central Railway (NCR) for the post of Apprentice. Those who are interested can apply for the posts through the official website rrcpryj.org. The last date to fill the application form is August 1.

Apprenticeships are offered in trades including Fitter, Welder (G&E), Armature Winder, Machinist, Carpenter, Electrician, Painter (General), Mechanic (DSL), Plumber, etc.

Applicants will not have to go through any exam to be eligible for the job. A merit list will be prepared to select the applicants for providing training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The merit list will consist of the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both the matriculation (with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.

Railway Recruitment: Eligibility

educational qualification: To match the eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed SSC/Matriculation/Class 10 examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system). They should have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. In addition, they should possess ITI in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

technical ability: ITI certificate in relevant trade / National Trade Certificate affiliated to NCVT / SCVT is mandatory.

Age Range: An applicant must have attained the age of 15 years as on August 1, 2022, but must be less than 24 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved categories.

Railway Recruitment Fee

General candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Whereas, SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from paying any kind of fee.
