Sisodia, while interacting with the students who qualified JEE Main, said that facilities like upgraded library, free coaching classes and reading rooms along with the hard work of the students and teachers have contributed to this success.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Monday said that there is no dearth of talent among Delhi government school students and if given a chance, they too can clear exams like JEE by working hard.

Interacting with government school students who qualified JEE Main, Sisodia said that along with the hard work of students and teachers, facilities like upgraded library, free coaching classes and reading rooms have contributed to this success.

Addressing the students, he said, “Our students come from various socio-economic backgrounds and have seen most difficult times in their lives, but still they are determined to achieve their goals.”

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that not only the students but their parents, teachers and the entire education team of Delhi have contributed a lot in this achievement.

Forty-five students from Delhi government schools have scored above 98 percentile in JEE Main, of which two have scored 99.98 percentile. Last year, 496 students from Delhi government schools qualified for JEE Main and 74 of them cleared the advanced round.
