Earlier, the visiting team had asked how many spectators would be in the stadium. He clarified that the visiting team would like to minimize contact with the officials and the crowd.
UPCA assured him that medical facilities would be at his doorstep. A team of specialized doctors and paramedical staff will be at the Green Park to handle any medical issues of both the teams. The administration is already following the COVID protocol and the team will be accompanied by a Chief Medical Officer level officer.
During the inspection of the ground and the pavilion, the visiting team asked which dressing room was likely to be allotted to the New Zealand team. Khanna said that it was not decided and it was not a big issue as they would get whatever they wanted. Both the members seemed satisfied after seeing the seating area and other facilities in the new pavilion.
After this the members inspected the ground and the wickets. There he was told that the gear and belongings of players and umpires would be scanned before being sent inside the stadium.
