OnePlus has addressed concerns of a user who complained that its new OnePlus Nord 2 unit exploded within five days of use. According to the post (now deleted) on Twitter, the smartphone unit that appears to have belonged to the wife exploded when she went out to cycle in the morning. The incident reportedly led to an accident, and the wife was in shock, the post highlighted. OnePlus says it regrets the incident, although the company did not specify the reason for the explosion. Bengaluru-based user Ankur Sharma also posted pictures of the damaged unit, which shows the rear panel completely destroyed. The frame, side panels and display have also been burnt.
