Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor recently appeared as a special guest in an episode of the dance reality show Super Dancer 4. In this episode, the actress was seen enjoying the performances of the contestants on her popular songs. He shared many anecdotes about his life as well as his family members and film career.
In the episode, Neetu was asked about the son, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, when he revealed that he had mischievously called the fire brigade to his New York residence as a child. She said that a young Ranbir saw a fire alarm in the building and sounded it.
“She looked at it and thought what if I dabang it. And he did. Immediately, so many fire brigade and Ranbir Dar Gaya came around the building. He didn’t tell anyone, just went to his grandma and said I did not tell anyone (She looked at it and thought ‘let’s play it’. And she did it. Immediately, so many fire trucks came down) And Ranbir got scared. He didn’t tell anyone, just went to his grandmother and told her that he did it but he shouldn’t tell anyone),” she said.
Neetu also got her son to talk to a superfan on the show. Contestant Anshika Rajput told Neetu that Ranbir is her favorite, after which she called her. The Barfi actor told Anishka, “I will 100% very soon come but before that I will also meet you (I will be on the show very soon but I will meet you before that). Many thanks and best wishes.”
Neetu also danced to Ranbir’s song ‘Galti Se Galati’ with his Jagga Jasoos director Anurag Basu. Basu judged the show along with Shilpa Shetty and Geeta Kapoor.
Contestants also paid tribute to her and late husband, legendary actor Rishi Kapoor. Neetu got emotional due to the beautiful tribute. “Such a nice tribute (Such a nice tribute). I don’t think anyone can (or ever will) give it to me. It was very touching,” she said, crying.
On the work front, Neetu will next be seen in Raj Malhotra’s Jug Jug Jio. The family drama will also star Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. Meanwhile, Maniesh Paul and YouTube sensation Prajakta Koli will play pivotal roles in the film.
