Telugu star Nani on Saturday uploaded a picture in which she is getting the Kovid vaccine. He encouraged fans to respond with an interesting pose in the caption of his post. “Our options, a) we vaccinate and stay safe. b) we stay safe by getting vaccinated. Choose one,” he wrote as the caption.
Actor Rahul Bose and writer Apoorva Asrani also shared that they received their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday. 53-year-old Bose and 43-year-old Asrani shared the vaccination news on their respective social media accounts.
Bose, who was last seen in the Netflix Original film “Bulbul”, expressed his gratitude to the doctors and medical staff. “Thank you, Aarti @rfhospital. Thanks to the staff and doctors of Sir HN Reliance Hospital. impeccably organized. #Day85 #seconddose #Covishield #doneanddusted,” he wrote, along with a video clip of the vaccination.
Asrani, who is known for writing “Aligarh”, “Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors”, said he took Covaxin.
“Today is my #full recovery day. I have always placed my faith in indigenous products and hence chose Indian made #Covaxin,” he tweeted.
The central government in March this year launched a nationwide campaign to vaccinate all people above 60 years of age and those in the age group of 45 to 59 years with co-morbidities. And from May 1, people between the ages of 18 and 44 were being vaccinated.
Maharashtra reported 9,677 new COVID-19 cases and 156 deaths on Friday, taking its infection tally to 60,17,035 and the death toll to 1,20,370, the state health department said.
Coming to Nani, the actor, who dropped his 25th film on OTT last year as Hero, is looking forward to the release of his new Telugu film ‘Tak Jugaadish’. He will also be seen in “Shyam Singha Roy” alongside Sai Pallavi, Keerthy Shetty and Madonna Sebastian. Nani also recently gave the first clap for his next production “Meet Cute”.
