Nagaland: Two people were killed and three seriously injured when a huge rock smashed into a car at Chumoukedima in Nagaland’s Dimapur on Tuesday. A video of the incident is going viral on social media, in which huge rocks can be seen sliding down and crushing cars parked on the road.
One person died on the spot
According to officials, the horrific incident took place near Old Chumoukedima police checkpost on National Highway 29 amid heavy rain at around 5 pm. After the incident, one person died on the spot and the other succumbed during treatment at the referral hospital.
Officials said that the other three people who were reported injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital. This shocking video has surprised everyone. The horrific video shows that the impact of the accident was that the three cars that were hit by the rocks turned into a pile of metal.
The incident was caught on the dash cam
One person is still trapped inside a car and efforts are on to rescue him. According to police officials, the cars were coming from Kohima side at the time of the accident. This entire incident was captured in the dash camera of a vehicle behind them.
