GUWAHATI: BJP national president JP Nadda is set to inaugurate the newly built northeast office of the party ‘Padma Bhawan’ in Guwahati on Monday.
Nadda arrived in Tripura on Sunday. He will land at Guwahati airport on Monday afternoon and will visit the Kamakhya Temple before inaugurating the BJP office at 5.20 pm.
A BJP spokesperson said three Union ministers from the northeast, four chief ministers from the region along with state BJP chiefs of eight states will be present during the ceremony. Nadda will also address the BJP workers at Machkhowa ITA Centre later in the day.
“Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the meeting of the BJP leaders from northeast is going to be frequent and we hope the NE BJP office here will be nerve centre of politics,” a BJP leader said.
