Mysore University: Cricket Tournament on 19th and 20th March | Mysuru News – Times of India

Mysore: Navodaya Cricket Club, Mysore In collaboration with the Department of Physical Education, Mysore University Srikantadutt Narasimha is organizing the V Prabhakar Memorial Legends T10 Cricket Tournament at the Raja Wadeyar Cricket Stadium on 19th and 20th March.
Navodaya Cricket Club office-bearer MR Suresh told that about 75+ senior cricketers who have played cricket Ranji Trophy, Mysore Division and University cricket teams representing the state will be part of this two-day tournament. It will be 10 overs in a side tournament, power play for three overs, and each bowler cannot bowl more than two overs.
“This is the first tournament of its kind in Mysore, which is of 10 overs. Five teams will participate in the tournament and it will be played on a league basis. Each team will get four matches to play and the top two teams will qualify for the final which will be played on March 20 at 3 PM.
Mysore University VC G Hemantha Kumar will inaugurate the tournament. Former Ranji cricketer S Vijaya Prakash, Navodaya Cricket Club president KR Mohan Kumar and Mysore University’s physical education department director P Krishnaiah will be the chief guests for the closing ceremony.
