The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has filed a strong plea seeking extension of custody of Aryan Khan (23) and other accused, saying they need to be confronted with another person arrested in the case to unearth the “chain of conspiracy”. the wanted.
Aryan Khan and two other accused Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant were arrested by the NCB on October 3 after a raid on a Goa-bound cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. A total of 18 arrests have been made so far. In a related development, NCB zonal director, Sameer Wankhede requested the court that the accused be kept at the probe agency’s office in the city as the jail does not accept inmates without COVID-19 test reports. The court accepted the request as no objection was raised by the defense.
