However, in a recent interview, Mrunal revealed that at one point she was hesitant to post a specific picture of herself on Instagram – a bikini pic. The actor shared that he had to muster up a lot of courage to post bikini pictures on social media where people have a misconception about a perfect body.
Mrinal told Hindustan Times that he feels somewhere that India has not completely normalized different body types. He highlighted a common belief among people that a perfect body is required to go to the beach. “We still think you have to have a perfect body if you’re going to the beach.” However, the actor said that it is not that he wants to inspire the girls out there.
Mrinal said that it is okay for women to be bloated and celluloid, because being fit from within is more important than having six-pack abs. She continued, “I need to muster up the courage to post a picture in a bikini, with my body type at the time and I am comfortable with it. I am preparing now.”
Talking about her fashion game, Mrunal said that she never leaves any stone unturned to dress up. “I always wear my mood,” said the actor, adding that she can’t pretend to be anyone else. Despite her experiments, there is one thing that is a staple in her wardrobe, that is denim. “I can’t count how many denims I have, they’re too many,” she mentioned about how much she loves denims.
