PM Modi in MP: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a day-long visit to Madhya Pradesh on June 27, during which he will launch five Vande Bharat trains and launch the National Sickle Cell Anemia Eradication Mission, his office said on Monday.
A statement by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said that the PM would reach Rani Kamalapati Railway Station at around 10:30 am and flag off five Vande Bharat trains.
Modi will go to a public program in Shahdol area around 3 pm. He will honor Rani Durgavati, who ruled Gondwana in the mid-16th century; Launch the National Sickle Cell Anemia Eradication Mission; And start the appropriation of Ayushman cards. As mentioned, he will also visit Pakaria town of Shahdol.
The five Vande Bharat trains that Modi will flag off are Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express, Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express and Hatia-Patna . .Vande Bharat Express.
The Rani Kamlapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express will connect Mahakaushal region (Jabalpur) to Central region (Bhopal) of Madhya Pradesh. Better availability will also help tourist places like Bheraghat, Pachmarhi, Satpura etc., the statement said.
It states that this train will be about 30 minutes faster than the fastest train at present. The Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express will further enhance the availability of Malwa region (Indore) and Bundelkhand region (Khajuraho) to Bhopal, the statement said.
This will help important tourist places like Mahakaleshwar, Mandu, Maheshwar, Khajuraho and Panna. It has been said that this train will be about two hours 30 minutes faster than the current fastest train.
Madgaon (Goa) – Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will be the most memorable Vande Bharat Express of Goa. It will run between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj End in Mumbai and Madgaon station in Goa. This will save about one hour as compared to the fastest train running between the two places, the statement said.
The Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will connect important urban areas of Karnataka – Dharwad, Hubli and Davanagere – with the state capital Bengaluru. It said that this would be of immense benefit to the commuters, students and industrialists etc. of the region.
Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express will be the first Vande Bharat train for Jharkhand and Bihar. The train will be a haven for tourists, students and businessmen, upgrading the network between Patna and Ranchi, the statement said.
It added that the Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express will save about one hour 25 minutes in travel time, as opposed to the fastest train running between the two places. At a public event in Shahdol, Modi will launch the National Sickle Cell Anemia Eradication Program.
