2 killed, 3 injured in balloon gas cylinder explosion in Chhindwara

Two people were killed and three others were injured when a cylinder used to fill gas balloons exploded at a fair in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara town on Sunday. He told that the incident is of Subhash Nagar area.

Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Uikey said Ibrahim uncle, who sold the balloons by filling them with cylinders, died on the spot after the explosion, while another person named Tajuddin Ansari breathed his last on the way to the hospital. .

The age of both the victims was between 40 and 50 years, he said. While Ansari’s wife, his son and a person named Suresh Yadav were injured and admitted to the hospital, the police have registered a case and investigation into the accident is on, the ASP said.
