India has set a world record for vaccination on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Corona vaccine has been administered to more than 2.50 crore people in a single day on Friday. According to the CoWIN portal, 2 crore 50 lakh 10 thousand 390 doses of the vaccine were administered till 12 o’clock late at night. Nowhere in the world has so far been given such a dose of corona vaccine in a single day.

The 45th meeting of the GST Council was held in Lucknow on Friday. In this, 6 states opposed bringing petrol and diesel under the purview of GST. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the GST rate on cancer medicine has been reduced from 12% to 5%. Tax exemption on Corona medicines has been extended till December 31. 3. The last date for linking PAN-Aadhaar is March 31, 2022
The central government has once again extended the last date for linking Aadhaar number with PAN card. Now PAN-Aadhaar linking can be done till March 31, 2022. The Finance Ministry gave this information on Friday. Currently, the last date for linking PAN with Aadhaar was September 30. Failure to link Aadhaar-PAN will make the PAN inoperative and may attract a fine of Rs 10,000.
