1. Resignation of Tirath Singh Rawat, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand for 115 days
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat submitted his resignation to Governor Baby Rani Maurya at around 11.15 pm on Friday night. In the history of Uttarakhand formed 20 years ago, he was able to remain Chief Minister for the shortest 115 days. The new CM of the state will be elected in the legislature party meeting to be held today.
