Kovid-19: 60 districts of Uttar Pradesh have less than 50 active cases. Lucknow News – Times of India

LUCKNOW: The pandemic situation in Uttar Pradesh reached its peak on Friday with just 133 new cases being reported in 24 hours. The state also recorded just one death. According to the health bulletin, both the numbers were similar to the situation in the first week of March.
The new cases took UP’s tally to 17,06,384, out of which 16,81,208 patients have been cured. This translates into a recovery rate of around 98.6%. The only death was reported in Etawah, taking the total death toll to 22,616.
The bulletin revealed that 24 districts reported zero cases in the last 24 hours, while Lucknow (11) and Prayagraj (11) were the only ones to record double-digit entries. Varanasi (9), Ghaziabad (7) and Gorakhpur (6) were the only districts with more than five cases. The state now has 2,560 active cases, of which around 1,600 patients are in home isolation. The bulletin indicated that 60 districts (or 80%) have less than 50 active cases, while only six have more than 100 active cases. These are: Lucknow (178), Prayagraj (171), Kushinagar (123), Varanasi (123), Muzaffarnagar (113) and Meerut (112). Meanwhile, the total number of doses administered reached 3.20 crore till 8 pm on Friday.
