New Delhi: The Central Government said that more than 116.50 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses have been provided to the States and Union Territories so far.
Out of the total vaccines provided, more than 15.54 crore remaining and unutilized COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with the states and union territories, to be administered. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Friday.
“More than 116.50 crore vaccine doses have been provided to the States and Union Territories (UTs) so far Central Government’s free channel and through direct state procurement category,” the ministry said.
“Balance over 15.54 crore and unutilized covid The vaccine dose is still available with the states/UTs to be administered.”
Meanwhile, India recorded 12,729 new Covid-19 cases and 221 deaths in the last 24 hours.
