Upasana looked drop dead gorgeous, draped in six yards of glory, as she attended the prestigious award function along with her husband and team RRR.
Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela likes to stay simple yet elegant. Upasana has told fans all about her love for Indian wear, especially sarees, through her apparel choices over the years. At the Golden Globes this year, she wore a bandhani saree, which also had a hint of Ajrakh print, to display her love and respect for her tradition.
The sari that Upasana wore for the award ceremony was multi-coloured and had a lot of detailing all over it and the soon-to-be mother looked effortless in it.
The entrepreneur who is expecting his first child with the mega power star, Ram Charan accessorised the traditional look with sleek tear-drop earrings and a tiny bindi. She was carrying a bright yellow ‘botua’ purse which contrasted perfectly with her purple blouse. Upasana has always gone minimal on makeup and this time too she kept it minimal and opted for a half-tie look for her hair.
All the leading men of RRR walked the red carpet with their significant others – starting from JR.NTR who walked hand in hand with his wife Lakshmi Pranati who opted for a sleeveless gown with minimal dazzle, director Rajamouli There along with his wife were renowned designer Rama Rajamouli who wore a green and orange saree and music director composer MM Keeravani with his wife MM Srivalli who attended the event in a bright red and yellow saree.
Talking about the men, while Ram Charan graced the event in a stunning bandhgala kurta, JR.NTR looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo teamed with a crisp white shirt and bow tie. Rajamouli chose an ethnic outfit to represent his film on the global stage and so did MM Keeravani.
‘Naatu Naatu’, a hugely popular song from RRR composed by MM Keeravani, which became a rage on social media in 2022, has won the ‘Best Original Song’ award at the 80th Golden Globes.
