Drishyam is going international. Malayalam film starring Mohan Lal The famous character Georgekutty is getting several non-Indian remakes, including one in Hollywood, in the lead role. Drishyam is a big hit in Malayalam industry and its success has been followed by two Bollywood remakes so far. All the parts of the franchise have been real money-spinners at the box office, especially Drishyam 2 in Hindi, which released last year and grossed close to Rs 250 crore at the box office in India.
