Malayalam actor Mohanlal-starrer Bro Daddy will have its direct-to-digital premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. Makers have announced that its streaming will start on the platform from January 26. The makers of the film have already released the trailer, which reveals that the film will revolve around the relationship between a father played by Mohanlal and his son, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Bhai Daddy is touted as a family entertainer by the makers. Apart from Mohanlal and Prithviraj, Bhai Daddy will see actors Meena, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Soubin Shahir, Jaffer Idukki, Kaniha, Unni Mukundan, Mallika Sukumaran, Lalu Alex, Jagdish, Nikhila Vimal and Sijoy Varghese.
The entire shooting of Bhai Daddy was done in Hyderabad last year. Apart from acting in it, Prithviraj Sukumaran is directing the film. This is his second consecutive directorial venture starring Mohanlal. The director-actor duo of Prithviraj and Mohanlal worked together in the 2019 political thriller Lucifer.
It is shown in the trailer of the film that a son is unable to tolerate his father’s antics and is determined to live life on his own terms. The son falls in love with a girl and his father helps him in escaping the girl.

The makers of Bro Daddy recently released the first song of the film. This song named Parayathe Vannen is sung by MG Sreekumar and Vineet Srinivasan. Music director Deepak Dev has composed the romantic song, while the lyrics have been given by Lakshmi Sreekumar. It has got more than 2 million views on Youtube.
