Mohammad Kaif Catches Up With MS Dhoni at Airport After His Successful Surgery

Mohammad Kaif said that MS Dhoni was returning home after knee surgery and had also spoken to his son Kabir.

Former India batsman Mohammad Kavi met legendary wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni at the airport on Monday. Kaif, who recently served as a commentator in IPL 2023, posted a picture with MS Dhoni, his wife Sakshi Dhoni and their daughter Ziva. While Kaif’s wife and son were also in the photo.

Dhoni recently suffered a knee injury after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League 2023. The CSK skipper played the entire season with a knee injury but managed to lead his team to the title.

Kaif said that Dhoni was returning home after his knee surgery and had spoken to his son Kabir as well.

“We met the great man and his family at the airport today. He was returning home after an operation. Son Kabir was super happy as Dhoni told him that he too used to play football as a kid, just like him. Get well soon, see you next season’s champions. #MSDhoni,” Kaif wrote on Instagram.

Earlier, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan had confirmed that Dhoni had a successful surgery in Mumbai.

“Yes, Dhoni has had a successful knee surgery on Thursday at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. He is fine and the surgery took place in the morning. I don’t have details. CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan confirmed to PTI, “I am yet to get full details about the nature of the surgery and other things.”

“He has already been discharged from the hospital and has gone back to Ranchi. He will rest at home for a few days before extensive rehabilitation begins. Now it is expected that he will have enough time to get fit to play in the next IPL.

Dhoni has already announced that he will try to play in the next season of the Indian Premier League.
