‘Modiji Ke Sheher Mein’: Man lashes out at submerged Ahmedabad Airport

New Delhi: Heavy rains have affected people’s daily routine in Gujarat Gujarat With those who were traveling to the state. Recently, a video went viral on social media in which a man recorded the ‘pathetic’ condition of an airport in state capital Ahmedabad.

It is shown in the video that water has accumulated in the campus, due to which people are facing difficulty even walking in the campus. The person shooting the video pointed to the camera holding his shoes while condemning the poor management of the airport.

He further showed that everyone at the airport was seen walking through the premises submerged in dirty water. They were left with no option but to carry their belongings through the same water.

The man sarcastically showed the situation and said, “Modiji ke shehar mein… (Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s city).” He said, “This is the condition of the grand airport in Gujarat.”

Torrential rains paralyze life in Gujarat

Gujarat has recently witnessed heavy rains across the state, endangering the lives of human beings, cattle and even automobiles.

Recently an incident is from Gujarat Navsari It is one of the most affected districts, where gas cylinders were seen floating in the open ground. After this the cylinders were swept away in the water stream.

Flood like situation in Junagadh

Meanwhile, buffaloes were seen floating on the waterlogged roads in Junagadh. According to media agency PTI, the situation in the district has become flood-like due to continuous rains and rising water level.

Both these districts are among the worst affected areas of Gujarat, disrupting the daily life of the citizens. People were seen wading through deep water, while cars were seen soaking through water in a waterlogged parking lot.

However, rescue operations have been launched to evacuate people living in low-lying areas to safer places.
