Maruti Suzuki Jimny and modification will always go hand in hand. The tuning potential of the SUV is immense, and it is indeed an easy task to spot modified avatars of the Jimny around the world. Many of these small offroaders have been customized to look like the Mercedes-Benz G-Class in three-door format. Now, an Indian tuning house has fitted the G-Wagen kit on the 5-door Jimny. Needless to say, it looks sick and good. The modification has been done by VM Customs, and is pretty neat. In this avatar, Jimmy manages to hide his identity well.
The kit includes front bumper, fenders, wheel arch extensions, bonnet, door cladding, side steps, roof spoiler, auxiliary lights, rear bumper, headlamps, tail lamps and most importantly – bonnet-mounted turn indicators. The 5-door Jimny carries the G-Class essence, and with this kit, it is brought out quite clearly. Also, the interiors have been changed with a red-black theme. The designers have used leather to give the cabin a premium feel. However, no major changes have been made to the cabin of the car.
