Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu condoles the passing of Miss USA 2019 Chesley Christa

New Delhi: Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu is shocked to hear about the sudden demise of Miss USA 2019 Chesley Crist.

The 30-year-old beauty queen, fashion blogger, lawyer and Xtra TV correspondent fell from a “high altitude” of a 60-story condominium in New York City just after 7 a.m. on Sunday, January 30, and was pronounced dead. , a NYPD spokesperson told E! news.

On Monday, Harnaaz shared a beautiful picture on her Instagram story in which she can be seen sharing a smile with Chesley after winning the 70th Miss Universe 2021 held in Eilat, Israel.

He further wrote, “This is heartbreaking and unbelievable, you were always an inspiration to many. Rest in peace Chesley.”

According to E! News, the NYPD shared that the death of Krist, who lived on the ninth floor, appears to be a suicide, adding that a medical examiner has yet to determine an official cause.

Krist was born in 1991 in Jackson, Michigan and grew up in South Carolina. She attended the University of South Carolina and graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2017. He worked as an attorney in North Carolina as a civil litigator from Poyner Sproile LLP. She also founded the women’s business apparel blog White Collar Glam.

In 2019, she won the Miss North Carolina USA title and after being crowned Miss USA 2019, she took a sabbatical from work.

In 2020, his firm appointed him as its first diversity consultant. Also in 2019, Krist began working as a New York correspondent for Xtra.
