- Under Password-free account, select Turn on.

Can you add the password back to your account?
Yes, there is an option to go back if you are not comfortable with not having a password. Simply follow the below steps:
- Sign in to your Microsoft account for additional security options.
- Under Passwordless Accounts, select Turn Off, and then Next
- Follow the instructions to add the password back to your account.
Will a passwordless account work with all apps and services?
No, it will not. Older versions of Windows, Mac, apps and services will still require a password. These include Xbox 360; Office 2010 or earlier; Office for Mac 2011 or earlier; products and services that use IMAP and POP email services; and Windows 8.1, Windows 7 or earlier.
